Public Art Project Case Study
Moscow Public Park Stainless Steel Water Feature Sculpture Project
A series of large mirror-polished stainless steel sculptures developed for Park 50th Anniversary of October, combining public art, moving water and integrated lighting.

Project Overview
Public Art Designed to Perform in Water
The client planned a distinctive artistic landscape with a series of large custom stainless steel sculptures. The brief placed high demands on mirror-polished surface quality, structural stability, welding details and the overall relationship between sculpture, water and the park environment.
YouFine supported design consultation, sample confirmation, production, quality inspection, international transportation, installation guidance and after-sales coordination.
Because the works operate outdoors and within water features, material selection, corrosion resistance, surface treatment and long-term durability were considered throughout the project.
Pre-Production Documentation
See the Result Before Fabrication Begins
CAD line drawings, 3D models and site simulations helped confirm the sculpture form, surface effect, installation position and final landscape relationship before workshop production.

Project Advantages
Four Controls Behind a Reliable Water Feature
The project was managed as a complete public-art delivery rather than a standalone product order.
Design Certainty
Visual and technical documentation reduced uncertainty around appearance, scale, installation and site relationships before production.
Structural Control
Forming, welding, grinding and reinforcement were managed to achieve stable structures and accurate large-scale forms.
Mirror Finish
Repeated grinding and polishing created a highly reflective surface while controlling welding transitions and visible irregularities.
Water Performance
Material, corrosion resistance and surface treatment were selected for long-term outdoor display and continuous visual interaction with water.
Manufacturing Process
From Stainless Steel Framework to Finished Form
Each sculpture moved through material preparation, forming, welding, grinding, mirror polishing, assembly and final surface inspection.

Mirror-Polished Craftsmanship
A Surface That Reflects Water, Light and Landscape

The finish is part of the artwork.
The mirror-polished surfaces reflect trees, sky, visitors and moving water. Careful welding, grinding and repeated polishing were required so the sculptures could present a visually continuous, high-quality finish at public-art scale.
Client Factory Inspection
Quality Reviewed and Approved in Person
Before completion, the client visited the YouFine factory to inspect the surface finish, welding details, overall structure, dimensions and final visual effect.

Inspection Result
Craftsmanship, quality control and presentation approved for the next stage.
The visit gave the client direct visibility into the production result before the sculptures were prepared for transport.
Installation Support
Detailed Drawings for Accurate Site Installation
The local installation team received drawings and video guidance covering positions, fixing methods, structural connections and foundation requirements.

One-to-one technical guidance supported a safe and efficient installation process, even though the production and project sites were in different countries.
Packaging & International Shipping
Protecting the Mirror Finish Across the Journey
Customized packaging combined anti-scratch protection, anti-collision materials and reinforced structures to protect each sculpture during long-distance transport.

Installed Project Feedback
Sculpture, Water and Light Working as One
The installed works create different experiences by day and night. Water activates the sculptural forms, the mirror surfaces reflect the park environment, and integrated lighting adds another visual layer after dark.

The completed project demonstrates how accurate pre-production planning, controlled mirror polishing and practical installation support can translate complex concepts into durable public water features.
